I was inspired by this post. What I see in the ECM-projects I do is that introducing a centralized digital world creates a tension between to types of practices: the business and the archival. It&#039;s no more fileshares and paper archiving.

This tension, arises in my honest opinion due to the fact that it&#039;s less structured vs. more structured en less detailed (products) vs. more detailed. This creates a mismatch either on the business side (training a monkey) or on the archival side (no control). I totally agree on your comment.

I am favourable for &quot;subversive RM&quot;, and I think that a good interface between the business world and the RM-world is essential for this: creating best of both worlds, within one digital working environment. Quite a challenge...</description>
